Right there from the first minutes SILENCE! Of course, if you listen very closely, or bring your head closer to the filter itself, then its operation is audible. But in general within the room – SILENCE! This is a HUGE plus at such a power! Still, 1200 liters is not 600 or 900 liters per hour.
Furthermore, it appears that the new Tetra EX 1200 Plus is even quieter than the JBL e900 filter by alternating between turning these two filters on and off! With a 1200 liters per hour capacity, vibration is likewise barely perceptible.
After a week or so, I will switch off the JBL so that the Tetra EX 1200 Plus can function on its own. The filter has been in operation for a few weeks.
QUALITY OF FILTRATION
